The Heisei Ultraman series (平成ウルトラマンシリーズ, Heisei Urutoraman Shirīzu ?) is a term used to identify Ultraman Series installments starting with 1996's Ultraman Tiga. In the following year, Ultraman R/B the Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond was released and marked the debut of the villainous Ultraman Tregear, who would later be the antagonist of the first Reiwa era television series Ultraman Taiga. In 2018, the company released Ultraman Geed the Movie: Connect the Wishes! and aired the last series of Heisei era, Ultraman R/B. In the following year, the film Ultraman Orb the Movie: Let Me Borrow the Power of Bonds! was released alongside a mini-series airing not to long after, which revealed the next Ultra Hero, Ultraman Geed, who would star in his own series in the same year that concluded the battle between Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Belial.
Orb later received a prequel series, titled Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga. Tsuburaya Productions would establish the show and its predecessors as a part of the New Generation Heroes series. In 2016, Tsuburaya Productions released the next series Ultraman Orb to celebrate the Ultraman Series' 50th anniversary. In 2015, the company released the film Ultraman Ginga S the Movie: Showdown! The 10 Ultra Warriors!, the mini-series Ultra Fight Victory and the series Ultraman X which also received a film adaption the next year. In 2014, Ginga would receive a sequel series, Ultraman Ginga S, featuring a new Ultra: Ultraman Victory. The series received two films, Ultraman Ginga: Theater Special in 2013 and Ultraman Ginga: Theater Special Ultra Monster Hero Battle Royal! the following year. Ultraman Ginga was released to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary and aired as part of the biography series Ultraman Retsuden. In 2013, after the massive success of the Ultraman Zero Series, Tsuburaya Productions revealed that they would produce the first Ultraman television series since 2006. As a successor to Ultraman: Towards the Future, the company co-produced the 1993 American series Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero, which marked the second Ultraman media to be produced in the United States, after Ultraman: The Adventure Begins.
During the early Heisei era, Tsuburaya Productions co-produced the Australian series Ultraman: Towards the Future.
